With Sponsorship from The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), the Caribbean Farmers Network (CaFAN) is currently hosting "ARDYIS Web 2.0 Training and Exchange Workshop at the University of the West Indies Solution Center, Cave Hill Campus. The event started from Saturday 27th July, 2013 and ends on Wednesday 31st July, 2013.
Sixteen participants from across the Caribbean region were selected to attend this workshop. It is hoped that the training received will be applied to help enhance their careers and further the goals of their respective organizations.
The main objective of the Agriculture Rural Cooperation and ICTs (ARDYIS) project is to contribute to sustainable agriculture and rural development in ACP countries and to increase the involvement of youth. more specifically, the project will raise the awareness of youth on the issues of rural and agricultural development for ACP countires as well as raise their capacity in ICT for rural development.
