Greenifying Your Life

Go Green.. Use Green.... Live Green.. Be Green. What does this earn? Simply put, finding alternative methods for doing everyday activities in an effort to save and sustain the environment. RIght!! Great Idea..

The reality is that the simple things we do have an impact on our world... From what we choose to wear,...where we shop.....where we live......what we buy...what we eat .. how we vote...what we do with our garbage. Yes, it all matters in the bigger picture.

However, do we have the time and the energy to devote to such a task with our many busy lives? Perhaps not but a few simple ideas can get us on our way.
  • Again Recylce (Re-Blog)
  • Buy and eat organic
  • Use Eco-friendly products for washing and cleaning
  • Wash by hand
  • Use Eco-friendly bulbs to save energy
  • Walk, bike and car pool where you can
  • Bring your own bag/s to the supermarket
  • Buy reusable containers
  • Reduce water use - take showers instead of baths
  • Use less paper - send emails for peace sake
  • Compost (Re-Blog)

Think of "Going Green" as a movement for better health...... for better saving.....for a larger bank account and for your over improvement of life.

Come to think of it..It is all about control and being the one who takes the lead.

Is that Appropriate?

What to wear? Each day we awake with the terror, the horror....... What to wear? Can you imagine looking in the closet and no matter what pieces are available...old ones, new ones? It's just not enough.

After fondling, decisions after decision... blood, sweat and tears... A look has been discovered. Yet, is this appropriate for the workplace..

One has to think on these things, if it weren't important I won't say it. As women and as men, we find ourselves battling this issue. What may seem a great idea at the beginning, can be the cause of aches? Am I suggesting that we all dress as matrons? No, but what I am advocating is decency and compliance to what is acceptable for the working world.

Think hard on this.. You can't expect to dress as "a hooker" and be taken seriously. Your deportment means a great deal, oftentimes our bosses are looking when we least expect it. What then is deemed "Not Work Place 101"
  • Slippers
  • Too short skirts
  • Hauter tops
  • flip flops
  • Nose rings
  • See through clothing (All kinds)
  • Tons of make-up
  • Too much perfume

Please feel free to add your own suggestions. It's the business world, at least look the part
